The Eggnog Talking is a funny and touching Christmas story about a gang of mobsters who want to restore the fortunes of a family-owned restaurant in Little Italy by rubbing out a rival mobster when he dines there. This, they think, will bring a lustrous new fame to the place, now in decline because its new owner, the son of the woman who ran it for many years, cannot master the recipe for the red sauce that was its crowning glory. By the end of the play, justice, as well as a good red sauce, has been served along with a lot of laughs.
